The first FESN Summer school took place between the 1st and 4th September 2014 in Berlin. There were 40 students from 19 different countries, most undertaking a PhD. The topics included Methods, Ethics, Dissemination, Brain Imaging and Univariate and Multivariate Approaches to Lesion Analysis. The outcome was very positive with a good evaluation of the course, speakers and organization. There were also good moments of social and scientific gathering.
