Welcome reception

Tuesday 21 September 5 PM – 7 PM / open to all - free

The organizing committee would like to invite all attendees of ESN 2010 to join them at the welcome reception. During the reception you can taste various typical Dutch products as cheese and beer. At the reception you can also collect your badge and the conference bag.

Boat trip

Wednesday 22 September 6 PM – 7 PM / open to all - free

Since Amsterdam is famous for its canals a boat trip should be included in your visit.
To make it easier for you we have arranged a boat trip for all conference participants. You will be picked up at the end of the first conference day, just in front of the conference venue.
After a roundtrip of approximately one hour you will be dropped off in the city center where you can join the conference dinner or explore the small streets dotted with restaurants of all sorts of cuisines on your own.

Conference dinner

Wednesday 22 September 7 PM / please register (costs € 55,-)

The conference dinner will take place at a beautiful location. It is a sit-down dinner at one of the historical monuments of Amsterdam:  Hotel American. Originally built in 1882, and redecorated in a Dutch art nouveau style in 1902, the restaurant of this hotel is a perfect location to enjoy a good meal and glass of wine while meeting your fellow conference-attendees.

The price per person is € 55,- and includes the three-course dinner, 2 glasses of wine, beer or non-alcoholic drinks and 1 cup of coffee or tea.
