Summer- or Autumn Schools

The Summer- or Autumn School, sponsored by the FESN, is organised by members of the Scientific Advisory Board and takes place in a member country. The School is addressed to graduate students in their final years of PhD, early post-docs as well as clinicians at a comparable level of career. It will be organised to stimulate the scientific work and to encourage the international communication. About 50 participants are invited from all partaking national societies for three days of scientific exchange enclosed in a social program. Apart from an interesting program, the school offers lots of opportunity to socialize and develop a European network of young neuropsychological researchers.

Applicants who are members of a national society affiliated with FESN are eligible to apply for financial support through their respective national society. A letter of application and a curriculum vitae must be submitted to the national society concerned.

Applicants who are not supported by a national society or who are not members of a national society are also eligible to apply.

FESN Summer School 2026

The FESN Summer School 2026 took place in BORDEAUX (France) 20 - 23 July 2026

And it was a great success!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this event possible: our participants, our speakers, the members of the Management Committee and the Scientific Advisory Board, the students of our Student Liaison Committee (SLC), our communication team, our fantastic member societies for spreading the word and helping us bring together students from so many different countries, and, in some cases, providing financial support to enable students to attend.

And, last but certainly not least, our wonderful local organiser, Michel Thiebaut de Schotten.
